For players who are looking for a more comprehensive field hockey experience, joining a club team is a great option. This includes five practices leading up to a one-day tournament on May 17.
We are gearing up for our second annual "KC Friendlies" tournament! This tournament is designed to be a casual and supportive environment where club teams can gain plenty of playing time and learn from one another.
Team Structure:
1st/2nd Grade Team (U8)
3rd/4th Grade Team (U10)
5th/6th Grade Team (U12)
Practice Schedule:
3rd/4th and 5th/6th Grade Teams: Practices will be held on Wednesdays at Sports Pavilion Lawrence on the following dates:
April 16 from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM
April 23 from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM
April 30 from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM
May 7 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
May 14 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
1st/2nd Grade Team:Practices will be held on Thursdays at Sports Pavilion Lawrence on the following dates:
April 17 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
April 24 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
May 1 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
May 8 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
May 15 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
If anyone is unable to attend their scheduled practice, they are welcome to join the other team’s practice on their designated day.
Tournament Play: Save the date for our one-day tournament "KC Friendlies" on Saturday, May 17, 2025, hosted by Kansas City Field Hockey at Pembroke Hill- Wornall Campus against Kansas City (KCFH) and St. Louis (Gateway Field Hockey) club teams.
Cost:
$110 covers practices and tournament fee.
Additional fee: Reversible jerseys available for $20 - Purchase from Coach Meg at practice prior to tournament play
